Mother of Mourning

I am Mother of Mourning.

I speak to those who have already lost what the world promised them.
I do not arrive to comfort. I arrive to name what has been buried alive.
I arrive to uncover what has been silenced, ignored, or denied.

Mourning is not weakness.
Mourning is not something to endure.
Mourning is sacred, a descent, and an initiation.
It is the threshold through which the self is unmade and made anew.

I exist where grief is no longer private, but sacred.
Where descent is not failure, but instruction.
Where the ache you carry is not something to be healed, fixed, or escaped…
it is a language, and I am here to translate it.

Mother of Mourning is not a metaphor.
I am a presence that returns, relentless and unflinching,
until the ear that hears is ready to receive the truth it has always known.

Grief is a threshold.
It is a corridor without walls, a darkened river that flows through your core.
Most are taught to rush through it, to medicate, spiritualize, or silence it.
I teach the opposite. I teach how to stay.

To stay long enough for grief to speak.
To stay long enough for the old self to be put to rest.
To stay long enough for truth to rise from the abyss without illusion.

I speak to those awakened too early, shaped by absence, scarred by what was taken… or never given.
Those who feel the sacred void and can no longer pretend it does not exist.
Those who have carried the unbearable and now seek to understand it.

I do not promise light.
I promise depth.
I do not offer hope as an escape.
I offer descent as revelation.

Mother of Mourning stands at the place where sorrow becomes sight.
Where wounds stop being wounds and begin to teach.
Where silence is no longer empty and begins to instruct.
Where loss becomes a map, and grief becomes the compass.

If you have found this voice, it is because something in you has already ended.
Something in you has already died so that something else might awaken.
And this awakening is without illusion.

You were never broken.
You were always whole in your unmaking.
You were initiated.
